Over the past 20 years, Roberts has amassed a vast trove of Florida souvenirs dating to the late 1800s. Many are in his personal collection, which was the sole source of the hundreds of photos in his $40 book.
Others are in his Micanopy shop, Roberts Antiques, where he deals primarily in tourist mementos he calls “wonderful connectors for Florida history.”
