The museum is located in an 1870's era, two story house once owned by the Vinzant family, in Downtown Lake City. It contains exhibits related to the history of this Northern Florida County and the surrounding area. In addition to various artifacts, the museum also offers guided tours (by appointment only),genealogicalresearch, exhibits and public services such as historical re-enactments. Each room of the house presents a different era of history and allows you to browse the extensive collection of relics and priceless heirlooms.
