Fiddler Crab Festival, Steinhatchee, February 14-16, 2020 — Bigger and Better!
Steinhatchee’s annual Fiddler Crab Festival has become the big event for this small coastal fishing community. From the very beginning, rain or shine, the event has attracted thousands of visitors to the riverside between Taylor and Dixie counties, in Natural North Florida.
Steinhatchee is located in southern Taylor County, at the mouth of the Steinhatchee River. From US19/98 northbound, take SR358 west to Jena and cross the 10th Street Bridge. From US19/98 southbound, take SR51 from Tennille and travel about 6 miles to Steinhatchee.
This year’s event, February 14-16, will include lots of fun activities for the entire family. Music lovers will be entertained by performers.
Kids (and adults) will be enthralled with Fiddler Crab Races.
Don’t miss the parade that travels down Riverside Drive!
Expect to see classic cars, as well as the opportunity to shop from vendors lining several streets near the Steinhatchee Community Center.
Expect plenty of food, from vendors or at the Swampwater Chili Cook-Off.
