NO BOYS ALLOWED!  That’s the motto for the upcoming Steinhatchee Nauti Girls Fishing Tournament, scheduled for June 11th.  Actually “boat boys”, mostly designated drivers, are allowed to chauffeur ladies’ teams around the local Steinhatchee waters.  This is the 7th year of the event, and it just keeps getting more and more popular, attracting ladies from all over the state to this small coastal fishing village.

Weigh-in will be from 2 to 5:30PM at the Steinhatchee Community Center.  There will also be a Captain’s Meeting at Who Dat Bar & Grill in Jena (on the Dixie County side of the Steinhatchee River) from 6 to 8:30PM the night before the tournament (June 10).  And, following the weigh-in, the folks at the Sea Hag Marina will host a wine and cheese party and “Nauti Girls Photo Shoot”!
