Don’t Miss The Festival of Lights at Florida’s Stephen Foster State Park, 12/1/17-12/24/17
Christmas is coming to Florida’s Stephen Foster State Park, near White Springs,
along the Suwannee River, on December 1, 2017!
Here’s a few words from the park about the event (we couldn’t say it better!):
Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park and the Stephen Foster Citizens Support Organization, is preparing to illuminate the park with holiday lights once again! The 2017 Festival of Lights will flip the switch Friday December 1, 2017 and will be ablaze this holiday season until December 24, 2017. The Festival of Lights has grown over the years and has been named a Top 20 Event in the Southeast United States for almost a decade.
Last year was a new beginning for the Festival of Lights and we will continue the rebuilding by constantly working to evolve the Festival, keeping it fresh and enjoyable for all. We are still in the planning and design phase of this year’s Festival but we will still have the well-loved family tradition of the classic Festival of Lights on our Holiday Magic Nights! Featuring free hot cocoa, popcorn, marshmallow roasting, bonfire, craft activities, snow flurries, train display, Gift Shop, music in the Tower and of course Santa! The last ticket sold will be at 8:30 p.m.
Silent Nights will be weeknights, Monday through Thursday, and is part of our effort to lessen lines and create a more intimate experience for visitors. Load up the family and come enjoy the beautiful light displays at your leisure. We encourage you to park and walk through the lights, spend time with your family, take photos and make memories without the hustle and bustle of our Holiday Magic Nights.
Holiday Magic Nights: Select Dates $3.00 per person. Children under 3 Free.
Silent Nights: $2.00 per person. Children under 3 Free.
