Cabin Camping at Madison’s Jellystone Park
We cooked breakfast in a full kitchen, then ate at a dining room table that seated six. Wait a minute. This is a campground?
At Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in Madison, roughing it doesn’t have to be rough at all. Sure, you can tent or RV camp, but you can also enjoy the resort from the home base of an air-conditioned cabin with a living room, electric fireplace and a large bathroom with a full-size tub.
Our cabin, which overlooked the lake, had two full beds in one room, two bunks in another, and a sleeper sofa.
The kitchen was well equipped with a range, oven, small sink, microwave, coffeemaker and full-size pantry. With a deck, grill, picnic tables and fire ring outside, we could have all of the fun of camping without sleeping in a tent.
