Learn How to Take Better Fishing (and Outdoor) Photographs–A Program by Capt. Tommy Thompson, May 24, 2011
Don’t miss my program at the May 2011 meeting of the Gainesville Offshore Fishing Club on the 24th. I’ll cover digital file types, file sizes for publication, good posing techniques, photo editing software, keeping your gear dry, underwater cameras– and how to win photo contests. There will also be a brief discussion of digital video techniques.
Capt. Tommy Thompson is Past-President of both the Gainesville Offshore Fishing Club and the Florida Outdoor Writers Association. He is the author of The Saltwater Angler’s Guide to Florida’s Big Bend and Emerald Coast, fishing and boating blogger for Visit Natural North Florida, Big Bend Regional Editor (Action Spotter and weekly online Fishing4Cast) for Florida Sportsman Magazine and he maintains his own Web site, saltwateranglersguide.com .
The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the UF Vet School on Archer Road at 7PM. The meeting is open to the public.
