Fun and Games! Labor Day Weekend 2019 at Suwannee River Rendezvous, in Lafayette County

There’s something for everyone at Lafayette County’s Suwannee River Rendezvous Resort!     
Located just east of the town of Mayo, at 828 NE Primrose Rd, the resort is just about a mile off US27 on the shores of the beautiful Suwannee River.  The main feature of the original resort, opened ten years ago, is Convict Spring, Cool, 72-degree water makes the spring a refreshing natural swimming hole.

One of the park’s newest additions is the RV Park, complete with a refreshing swimming pool.

 

While the Suwannee River is the centerpiece of the resort, there are plenty of other things to do.  There are rental canoes and kayaks, as well as picnic areas, playgrounds and activities for adults and kids and even a dog park.  If you don’t have a camper and prefer not to camp, there are several lodging options, as well as some excellent food at the main lodge.
This Labor Day weekend will the perfect time to come to Suwannee River Rendezvous.  There are plenty of activities on tap, as well as plenty of time to just kick back and enjoy the Suwannee River, as it passes by the main lodge.  For reservations or check availability , please contact the resort during office hours:

1:00 – 4:00 pm          Hotdog cart will be at the pool pavilion 

6:30 – 7:00 pm          Bingo cards go on sale in the Lodge

SATURDAY      31 August 2019 

11:00 am                    Candy Bar Bingo in the Lodge 

12:00 pm                    Cornhole Tournament at the pool pavilion 

1:30 pm                      Balloon Toss at the pool pavilion 

3:00 pm       Rubber Duck Race at the Spring.  Sign up in the office and pick your duck. 

4:00 pm       Pigeon Race at the Racing Pigeon Coop by the dog parks. 

6:00 pm                     Chicken Poo Bingo behind the lodge 

6:00 pm                     Live music in the Lodge with Brackish Waters 

SUNDAY          1 September 2019 

12:00 pm                   Watermelon eating contest at the pool pavilion.  Sign up at the office. $
