Folk In The Springs–A Free Day of Music and Fun in High Springs, September 15, 2019

High Springs has much more to offer than its nearby springs (Poe, Ginnie, Gilchrist Blue) and it’s locally known as “the springs”.  One event, this fall, promises to be lots of fun and give visitors a good look at the downtown.  High Springs is located west of Gainesville at the confluence of US27/US441.  It’s a quaint town and is usually busy with visitors heading to or from the local springs, visiting local shops or eating at The Great Outdoors restaurant.  This year, on September 15th, as part of the High Springs Music In The Park series, the city will host the 6th annual Folk In The Springs music festival.

There will be several concurrent performances by artists presenting music on several stages, including The Great Outdoors, the High Springs Playhouse, and the local public library.
