Seafood with a View at Posey’s Dockside
When you’re in Panacea, it’s hard to resist the lure of the water, and come dinnertime, dining bayfront seems like a no-brainer. With seafood and a great view in mind, we headed to Posey’s Dockside.
From the painted pirate that greets you on your approach to the fishing boats tied up at the neighboring docks, this waterfront spot is chock-full of local charm.
After we ordered our food, we listened to fish tales being swapped at the lively bar and took a walk around the marina to look at the boats.
Once our meal arrived, we dug into grouper sandwiches and seafood platters with yummy cole slaw. You’ll often find live music here, and though the bar scene is boisterous it remains very family-friendly.
Watching the pelicans, admiring the boats and soaking up the local culture made this one of our favorite spots in Natural North Florida.

Posey’s Dockside has a great view, good food and locally owned and operated. Summer months there is live music on some weekends. Great little place.
